Old English Company...

This week I've been sent some really cute wall art and a friggin awesome make-up bag from Old English Company!

I was very excited when they got in touch because I love their style. I thought that it would fit in very well with my Instagram feed

If you have never heard of Old English Company they sell lots of lovely home-ware products with fabulous fun quotes on. There is something for everyone and you can even personalise a lot of the products.

They said I could choose a few items of my choice so I instantly went straight to the prints section. Anybody who has seen my flat will know I have quotes everywhere. On my walls, coasters, and cushions but I do love me some wall quotes.

The prints section is basically quotes printed on fancy paper and they are brilliant!

There were so many amazing quotes to choose from, here are a few of my favourites...

"She believed she could so she did"

"Paris is always a good idea"

"Lets sleep in"

"Books and stuff"

and my personal favourite, the one I chose

" She designed a life she loved".

You really do need to go on the website to see it in all it's splendour because some of them have pictures on the print and there are some really funny ones too!

The reason I chose this one is because I really felt that I could relate. I do feel that I have designed a life that I love, through a lot of hard work and determination. I'm very happy with my job and my life at the moment so this quote fits nicely and would look great in my study.

I must quickly mention that the prints do not come in a frame, on the website all the prints are in a frame but in the small print it explains that the item does not come in a frame. It comes with a firm piece of cardboard behind it to stop it from getting damaged and bent and you can also put this behind the print in a frame.

You can buy this print here.

They also have a variety of ...

The wedding prints are perfect for a gift for the newlyweds!

The other product I decided to feature was a make-up pouch saying Holy Guacamole.

I knew I had to have this one as soon as I saw it because of a personal joke between friends so this was also pretty apt.

I really like the size of the bag, it's roughly about the same size as an 8x6 photograph.
It is 100% cotton but I think it feels quite 'canvassy' and sturdy.
I like the minimalist style with the black background and the bold white letters. It really stands out!

I think it fits a good amount of make-up in. Perfect to pop in your handbag for a day out shopping or when having lunch with your friends and it is very on trend at the minute!

You can buy this make-up pouch here.

They have more quotes to choose from for the make up pouches such as

"Buy me pizza and tell me I'm pretty"

"Ooh la la"

"Ta-dah"

"You beauty"

Not only do they sell prints and make-up bags. They also sell..

I especially love the wall hangings which are like little flags to put up around your home.

A little tip for you all! If you go on their website and click the link to like their Facebook page you get 10% off your first order!

I thought that Old English Company were a great company to work with, they were extremely quick at processing and sending my order. They were very polite and I love my items! I think this website is a great place for gifts so do go check it out. This post really doesn't do the website justice!

As always I like to be completely honest in my blog posts and say if there is anything negative about my experience and the only con I found was the price of the print. At £13.95 I thought personally that it was a little steep considering you don't get a frame and it's just the paper with the printed quote.

The make-up pouch is actually £1 cheaper at £12.95 whereas I would have expected that to be more expensive than the print.

It does explain on the website that the paper is thick 220gsm archival matte paper which gives a better quality which is why the price is higher and they use high quality ink to prevent fading over time.

That was just my personal opinion though and I always like to give an honest review which is what I was asked for. I love the products so much that it definitely hasn't soured my opinion on the company or the products.

Thank you so much Old English Company for asking me to collaborate, I really enjoyed it and love my products!

Just wanted to quickly remind you all that if you click my blog archive here or at the top of this page it will take you to a list of all the blog posts I have ever written so if you've missed any of them or if one of them catches your eye you can just click on the name and it will take you straight to it! :)

Thank you all for reading,

Until next time,

Disclaimer: I was sent these products free of charge in exchange for a review. All opinions are 100% honest.
